How to Configure the Home Page Background Image

The Minimum Pro theme demo displays a featured image on the home page and pages using the Landing Page template. This image can be set by navigating to Appearance > Background in your WordPress admin panel.

  1. Navigate to Appearance > Background.
  2. Use the “Choose Image” button to select the background image you wish to use.
  3. Once the image has been selected click the “Upload” button to load the image for use on your site.
  4. The Display Options settings are not important for this theme. These settings will be ignored.
  5. Click the “Save Changes” button to preserve your changes.

Note: This background image does not need to be a specific size since the theme is responsive and will crop, shrink, and grow the image as needed. However, due to the nature of the effect applied to this background image, not all images will look correct. Images without a specific focal point, such as natural scenes that will not look unusual when only a portion of the image is displayed, will work best.
