Customize the Entry Header

Unless otherwise indicated, the code snippets you see below should be placed into your theme’s functions.php file.

The snippet below may be used to customize the Entry Header content in HTML5 (Pro) themes.

Notes:

  • As of Genesis 3.2, this code snippet is no longer needed. Instead, the entry header text can be edited in Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Singular Content. See Genesis Theme Settings for more details.
  • If you are using an XHTML (non-Pro) theme, use the Post Info customization snippets instead.
